Hannah’s Biography

Hannah Willis is a very talented young lady. She understands horse phychology and has studied under many trainers, She has been cultivating her talent from a very early age.

Hannah Willis was introduced to horses by her mother. She rode for the first time when only 2 years old. Sadly, after difficult deliberations, Mrs. Willis sold all of her horses.
When Hannah was 7, she was reintroduced to horses when her mother bought a Tennessee Walker named Spirit. This was the beginning of "horse crazy Hannah." She Began to feel a special connection with horses.
It wasn’t long before she was begging her parents for her own horse. Her dream came true when her parents bought a horse named Star along with her companion Midnight. Star was a tall horse, reaching just over 15 hands, but to a young girl, she seemed even taller.
After almost 1 year, Hannah grew weary and nervous due to an accident of falling off of Star. Fifteen hands is a long way to fall down when you are only 9, and Star was very dominant and wanted things to go her way. Hannah wished she could have a smaller horse that would be the right size for her to ride.
For Hannah’s 10th birthday, she got two ponies called Fire and Blaze. Fire was a wild mustang that had fully earned his name for being fiery and independent. Blaze was a barrel racing horse, around 14 hands, but had some trusting issues with humans. Hannah didn’t know it at the time, but Blaze would be the horse to help her reach her dreams of training horses.

She is nowan instructor, pesonally specializing in trick training with Natural Horsemanship. She is passionate about Natural Dressage and reining. She has high hopes to compete in the NRHA in the near future. Hannah is also an assistant instructor. She is the founder of Heartfelt Horsemanship. she has gained knowledge and experience in the horse world.

"I'm no plastic; I'm a person. A person who has as many outlandish dreams as the next, but who has the ambition to one day see them through. My purpose in life is as you see it in any of my  videos, is to love and to cherish these creatures whom I've grown up with, and always loved. I've won and lost the love of horses in my life, and after several months of lacking the zest and motivation to carry on my once powerful dream to become a professional, I found the attraction again when I found how untrusting Blaze was, how much he needed a second chance and someone who could see him through his issues. My attachment carried me to many amazing places. My passion for horses burns so deep that I haven't the slightest clue what I'd be without them. I've tasted what happiness they can bring to a person, and I'll do anything whatsoever necessary to keep that tangy flavor embedded in my taste buds and in the fiber of my being. That's why I'm an instructor, to share that flavor with the rest of you."-Hannah Willis

"I strive for excellence in all I do. I am a learner at heart, and am totally dedicated to this journey of never-ending self improvement."-Hannah Willis
Dressage Naturally

In 2008, I became fascinated with the elegance and grace of Natural Dressage. The flowing movement and communication between horse and rider reminded me of dancers moving together across the ball room. The horse's beautiful flowing movement was like watching poetry in motion.

I quickly became hooked and decided to start investing my time into learning more about Natural Dressage. I soon became to practice with my super horse De Alumbrado Blaze (aka Blaze). Blaze quickly grasped the concept and found it easy because he has the foundation and built for dressage.

We both encountered struggles but through hard work and not giving up, we worked through each problem one at a time. We spent many countless hours, studying and then practicing with Blaze. We made our biggest break thanks to the help of my friend Mirka Pitts

Over all, I have a keen interest in learning and improving in Natural Dressage, and I soon hope to compete with my horses.
